Pediatric & Adult Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy (OT) can help individuals of all ages gain independence and improve function as they participate in daily activities or “occupations.” OT can help children and adults who are experiencing physical, motor, cognitive, sensory, or social-emotional difficulties return to the activities they want and need to do so they may actively participate in home, school, and community environments.

OTs at KRS perform comprehensive evaluations of a client’s current function and design customized treatment programs to improve the client’s ability to perform daily activities that they need and want to do. Outpatient OT services are available to pediatric and adult clients with a wide array of conditions including:

• Vestibular, Balance, and Coordination Disorders
• Other Neurological Conditions Impacting Daily Function
• Fibromyalgia and Other Fatiguing Conditions

• Learning Disabilities
• Cumulative Trauma Disorders of the Upper Extremity
